I have a covered patio in the back and during sunset, the light just makes it very unpleasant to stay out there for extended period of times. I got the sun screen shade....forgot the brand. Very popular brand...sunbrella maybe ? anyhow, that was just one big roll and while the material was high quality and good, you had to be a seamstress and architect to really make it look good and functional. We just wrapped a large piece between to support columns. Problem with that was that it totally blocked the beautiful view of our yard and canal. After months of getting sick of not being able to enjoy my view, I just purchased this. I had to use sheet metal screws to install into the hollow aluminum beam. Easy to do since this roll up blind comes with three hooks. Just install the screws and hang the blind. Looks beautiful, is functional and oh so cheap. Very happy ! Pics to come |
