My wife and I purchased this as a temporary shade for our new home, to be used until we could agree on a permanent shade. It looked nice enough in our living room that we decided to keep it as a permanent shade (we have the fabric, not paper version). Overall, this is a fantastic value for ~$8. The only thing that makes this less than ideal is that you need to manually lift and clip these to open them.

These shades are absolutely wonderful and I love them! What a great idea for homes in "transition" (we're remodeling ours in order to put it on the market), or just for a thrifty and easy way to cover any windows. I hope the inventor of these makes a lot of money!!

These are great. We have them in garage windows and I cannot believe how rich they look. No problem at all to install. For the price, even if they last a couple years, I would then replace them
